 Fast Action Game

Reddish faced Heaton on home ground and both teams put on a show. A fast action game saw no let up between the two and resulted in a goal less stalemate at half time.

Sturdy play in the second half saw jaw dropping saves from Reddish goalie Andrea Getcheffsky. However Heaton players Jane Brown and Hannah Berry worked some terrific passes and the finish still looked a likely draw. Fifteen minutes from the end Heatons Sam Barton scored with an almighty shot at the top of the circle and Heaton held out relieved to win 1-0.
