 Score Draw with League Leaders

It was honours even between Reddish and Heaton this weekend as they shared the points in a 3-3 thriller. In the first half Reddish got an early goal scored by Julie Gavin, but Heaton's Carolyn Tonge's deadly finish on the end of a cross levelled the score line. Reddish got their second before half time, but it was Heaton's attackers who got the upper hand at the start of the second half with goals from captain Linda Finch and Jenny Foster. At the other end Heaton's goalie Nat Davies made a spectacular save with her arm as a ball lifted towards the top of a goal, but Reddish eventually found a way past the keeper in the final 7 minutes and a draw was a fair result for the teams.
