Lancashire Team Match Report - Widnes v Reddish

Widnes conceded the match.

Stockport Team Match Report - Reddish v Hadfield

Reddish played a mixed team with many experienced players and some players making their first debut onto the Hockey pitch such as Sam Piggin.

Hadfield took the first pushback but within 4 minutes Reddish were 1 goal up as Jenny Worth received a pass from Becky Schofield and put it away. At half time Reddish were 2 goals up after a some determined attacking play finally saw Jenny score again after a strong attack through the centre of the field by Becky.

Hadfield came out fighting in the second half and scored within the first six minutes, after that Reddish determination returned and the defence tightened up. Reddish were soon on the attack again with Natalie Sutherland (Cheetah) making some good runs. Jenny scored her third goal away 5 mins before full time and shortly after that goal keeper Julie Gavin the Reddish Keeper saved a penalty flick and the game finished 3-1 to Reddish.

Jenny Worth and Becky Schofield got player of the match.
