Stockport Team Match Report - Edgeley v Stockport

Reddish fought last seasons Runners Up Edgeley. Reddish had plenty of enthusiasm and took on Edgeley with great spirit. Reddish put up a good fight and allowed Edgeley only one goal in the first half. Lisa Horbury put her team on the score sheet and gave them their inevitable goal . In the second half Lisa dodged past the keeper to score a spectacular second goal. Viv Hudson equalled Lisa, to score two more for Edgeley. Becky Schofield powered several shots into the circle, but Reddish were unlucky to score. They continued to show promise, Amber Bryden and Ellie Duke demonstrated skill and resilience. Keeper, Sarah Wantling kept the score down to 4-0 with her dynamic saves. An exciting game all round.
