REDDISH GOOD FORM CONTINUES 

Reddish took the lead after a well worked penalty corner was converted by a powerful hit from Becky Schofield. Claire Atherton was quick to equalise with a solo run from midfield which was rewarded with a rebound shot edging past a diving Reddish goalie. At the break the score was level.

In the second half Jenny Worth put Reddish back in the lead with a shot into the bottom right hand corner. Player of the match Amber Bryden weaved around the Hadfield defenders and forced a penalty corner. Lucy Cook scored a blinder with her first goal for the club when she whacked in a shot which confused the Hadfield defenders as it dipped into the goal. Reddish had plenty of energy left and it showed as Becky Schofield got her second goal of the game with another powerful drive past a helpless Hadfield goalie. A chance came when Hadfield cleared the ball cleanly and Louise Preston made a break with a solo dodge past the Reddish defence. Claire Atherton stepped in to finish it off with a shot that had the keeper beaten at full stretch. The final score was 4-2 and Reddish continued their good run of form.
