Directions to Werneth School

From the M60 exit the motorway at junction 25. At the first round about take the second exit up Crookiley Way to a second roundabout(100m). Take the second exit again (right) onto Ashton Road (A560). Follow this road bearing left at the traffic lights onto Stockport Road West. Continue past the Morrisons Supermarket straight through the next set of lights to a third set of lights. At this set of lights turn right into Bents Lane. Continue for half a mile until you come to a sharp left hand bend. On the apex of the bend turn right into Harrytown Lane. There is a small group of shops including a Cohen's chemist on the right hand side of the road just before the turning. Continue for 200m, Werneth School is on your Right.

When you get to the school, the entrance to the astro pitch is round the back. So go down Highland Ave, which is just before you get to the school , i.e. just before the bus stop and pedestrian fencing out side the school. Turn left into Higson Ave and the entrance to the pitch is through a gate at the end of Higson avenue.

Leave motorway at Junction 5 (Manchester Airport)
Straight through roundabout at Airport.
Left at next traffic lights.
Right at next traffic lights.
Continue for about 1 mile through Heald Green village
to traffic lights at T-junction and turn right.
Through next lights and at roundabout turn left onto dual carriageway.
Continue to end of dual carriageway and at roundabout turn left.
Continue into Bramhall village and at the mini-roundabout
bear right.
Continue under railway bridge and after 400 yds turn right
into Fir Road.
Then take second right (Seal Road).
Continue across cross roads and Bramhall High School is 100yards on your left.
Bramhall Leisure Centre is at the far end of the school.


From M60
Leave motorway at Junction 3. Signposted A34 Wilmslow.
Continue along A34 through traffic lights and go through two roundabouts. At third roundabout turn left onto another dual carriageway.
Continue to end of dual carriageway and at roundabout turn left.
Continue into Bramhall village and at the mini-roundabout bear right.
Continue under railway bridge and after 400 yds turn right
into Fir Road.
Then take second right (Seal Road).
